can i change my domain name to something else?

  I’m making a website to practice using wordpress and I bought the custom css package and the .net. But i want to change my domain name without losing what I paid for. Is there a way to do this? For example I want to change my url from http://impulse-by-a.net/ to http://echoandwild.net/?

  I haven’t bought the name to http://echoandwild.net/ do i have to do this and then pay for the custom css again? Or can I just change the name?

  To do this you’ll just need to register echoandwild.net, and set it to be your new primary domain.

  Visit this page:

  https://wordpress.com/domains

  Click Register a new domain, and search for echoandwild.net. If it’s available you’ll be taken to a list of sites you own. Select impulsebyadotnet.wordpress.com , as that’s the site where http://impulse-by-a.net/ is owned.

  Finish registering the domain echoandwild.net, then visit this page:

  https://wordpress.com/my-domains/

  For the site impulsebyadotnet.wordpress.com select echoandwild.net to be your primary domain and click the blue Update Primary Domain button.

  After all that you’ll still own the custom design upgrade, as well as http://impulse-by-a.net/ , but http://impulse-by-a.net/ will redirect to http://echoandwild.net/ .
