Can I change my emails so my full blog isn't sent?

Hey guys,
I was just wondering if there is a way to change my email subscription settings so that people who subscribe to see my posts don’t get the whole post sent to them. I’d like if some of the post and maybe a link to the rest of the post was sent, to bring people to the actual site, you know?
I’ve looked around my dashboard for a bit but I can’t seem to find anything so I just thought I’d ask here instead.

Here > Settings > Reading is where you set your RSS Feed to”summary”
That does not affect the length of the post displayed on the front page or main page for posts on the blog. To create excerpts there we can split content by inserting “the more tag” http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/ -

Oh, just checked my settings, I already had my RSS feed set to “summary,” so I guess that’s not the issue. Would you know how else to go about it?
