Can I change my menu or do I have to change themes?

  I love my theme but the menu isn’t very user friendly and I hate it. It says the theme only supports 1 menu. Can I customize the menu or do I have to change themes?

  The menu is a drop down: it isn’t listed on the page unless you hover over the side

  That is part of the tonal theme. We could probably figure out a way to force it to stay open all the time with CSS, but I’m not sure you would like that look in the long run.

  I did a quick search for themes that were somewhat similar to Tonal, but that also include a more traditional menu. Here’s what I found:

  It’s not an exact match, but if you like it as well as tonal, the easiest thing to do is switch themes. If you don’t like it as well, or want to try the CSS to see how it looks let me know and I’ll be happy to help.

  I’ll check it out: I do like the pen scratch theme’s menu better. Do you know if it’s easy to switch? And will it cost extra?

  It’s super easy to switch and you won’t be charged anything :)

  If you use the theme switcher in WP admin, you can even preview your site in Penscrach before you switch. Here’s a direct link.

  I’ve already searched for penscratch in the link above, so that’s the only one that shows up. You can actually see all of the available themes from that same screen, so if you switch and don’t like it, you can also switch back.

  Ok. I do like my current theme (tonal) better – BUT… I like pen scratch’s menu layout better. I have already paid for tonal and it really seems a waste to move to a free theme. Do you think I could work the Pen Scratch menu layout into my Tonal blog through CSS? If not, I will just go ahead and switch.

  Actually, Tonal is also a free theme. You have our Premium Plan, which will still be active it you decide to switch.
