Can I change my username?

  Hello,

  is it possible to change my username or do I have to entirely delete my profile and create a new one in order to have a new username?

  Thank you for your answer. I tried to change my username to bubulinagospodina so that it is similar to my website, but it tells me that the name is taken. How can I check that I have not created that username in the past (and I don’t have 2 accounts)? Also, is it possible that it doesn’t let me because my nickname in gravatars is bubulinagospodina?

  I see that the user hasn’t been active for 2 years. Do accounts stay in the system forever, or they get deleted after an amount of inactivity?

  If you like, you can attempt to contact the owner of that username and ask them if they would like to give it to you. You can do this by leaving a comment on an existing page or post requesting they contact you.
