Can I change the appearance of pages that are linked to home page WITHOUT changi

  I would like to simplify individual pages so they look different from home page (ie eliminate side column, certain widgets). Once I set the appearance of the home page, does every other page have to look the same? (using Matala theme).

  Unfortunately, that level of customization is not possible on WordPres.com, though some themes (like Twenty Eleven) don’t display the sidebar on single posts and pages.
