Can I change the automatic dates that are displayed on my posts?

  Hi there, I have been in touch previously about revamping my blog (megoracle.com) by starting a new one and then later having you help me transfer my domain name so that I retain all my comments, followers, stats etc…As I get stuck into the change I am wondering whether I can keep the original post dates. I am moving each of my 150 posts into the new site and want the post dates to show the original rather than today’s date. I hope this makes sense! Thank you in advance. Meg

  Hi Meg,

  Sure thing! One option you have is to Export the content from your site and then Import it into the new one. That will retain the original dates on all your posts.

  If you’re recreating the posts manually, you can change the date in the post editor to backdate it to whatever date you choose.
