can i change the bacground of the slide show

  the background of the slide show on the left column display images widget is black. I wanted to change it to white please

  Hi there,

  There isn’t a built in setting to change the background colour of the slideshow in the Gallery widget though I will add this as a suggestion for our team.

  You could change the colour with some custom CSS, though. The ability to add CSS is a Custom Design option that included as part of the WordPress.com Premium or Business plans. If you decide to upgrade then we can help with the specific CSS you need on our dedicated CSS forum.
