Can I change the background colour of the control panel
-
I need to change the background colour of the control panel for accessibility purposes. How can I do that?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
@storysoupenterprises, which control panel are you referring to? The ones that come up under My Sites?
-
@thesacredpath; yes, I am referring to the panel that emerges under My Sites. Is it possible to change the colour of that panel so it can provide more contrast?
I appreciate the help!

That is not something that can be changed at this time here at WordPress.com. With a self-hosted installation of the WordPress.org software, there are eight color schemes under Users > Your Profile in the dashboard, but those are not available here at WordPress.com, and wouldn’t affect the My Sites areas anyway.

Oh, I am disappointed to hear that there may not be a solution to this issue! I had checked the dashboard options before sending up the flare here in the forum. My concern is that the white cursor (the hand, with the thin black outline, which is not visible to someone with low vision) on the white background will prevent the user from being able to maintain her own site.

storysoupenterprises – I was helping you in another thread about this question. I wanted to let you know that I have reached out to our inclusion team and asked for any suggestions that they may have.
One I thought of would be to try and use the /wp-admin editor. Let me know if you need help getting there.
