can I change the color of my pages title?
-
My header is white in an area where two of the page titles appear because the lettering is white, therefore, no one is noticing them. I would like to make these page titles a different colour other than white lettering and changing the header pic is not an option! Is this possible? This will be needed for future pages too. Thanks for your help.

Well, without the CSS upgrade, I’m not aware of any way to change the color of the type on the tabs. (The CSS upgrade is not recommended unless you already have CSS coding skills – there is no official support for it.) The other thing you could do is put the Pages widget in your side bar, since you’re not willing to change the header image.
(What I would do, by the way, is make the header image the same but smaller and put a dark colored bar – maybe the same as the green you are using for your title – at the bottom of it so that the tabs showed up.)
(Oh – and focusing only has one S in it :( )

or you could lay a darker fade from the bottom of the image and up a little, to increase the contrast.

I decided to change the header, however, there is still white areas in the new header which does not allow for the entire page title to appear in some sections. I do have that in my widgets though, so “pages” appears in the sidebar. Thanks also for pointing out the “focus-sing” without the extra “s”. oops! I appreciate your help.
