Can I change the menu without the businessplan somehow??

    Hi,

This is probably a stupid question but I have tried to find my answer everywhere…
Is there any way to change the menu background-colour, font-family into something else without the business or premium plan?
(I have the oswald font in the header but the standard doesn’t have it)

The only place to really code is in the code editor but that doesn’t get me anywhere…
I know something about coding and I really have a view about my site so it’s frustrating I can’t do everything without paying for it. (and I currently don’t have the cash to do so)
ps. I have theme Lodestar if that helps

This is a guess, but if you use a browser like Chrome and an app or something that lets you figure out what the various elements are called when it comes to CSS styling… then perhaps you can. Whoever created your template used various names/elements for styling things like blog posts, paragraphs, main menu, etc.. If you can find the names of those items.. then I …. THINK…. you can go into Theme > Customize > Additional CSS and start typing in some CSS and change stuff.

Make sure.. .first… that you know how to undo whatever you change (just in case you make a change you don’t like).

One of the reasons I went with the BUsiness plan was so that I could install Plugins (some of which include handy CSS editors). Its 3x the price though.

I know how to use and add Css, but I can’t use the additional CSS.
    that’s for the upgrade.

If you mean the little ‘css classes’ thing with the menu options, i don’t know what I need to put in to let it work: (the full css class doesn’t work, onlky the font-family: “arial” line, etc)

    anyone knows any other option?
