Can I change the name of my blog?

  I want to change the name of my blog to garrylovesmotorcycles.wordpress.com
  If I cannot change the name, how do I delete account so I can try again?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Note that doing that is permanent and irreversible. You change the actual NAME, as opposed to the URL, on the dashboard Settings->General page.

  I’m just so, SO tired of answering “I deleted my URL how do I get it back” questions that I invariably suggest they simply register a different URL and transfer the contents into it instead.

  I’m with you on that. We have bloggers here everyday who change blog addresses and/or usernames like they are changing socks and then end up bawling the blues because they did not read the fine print.

  I have registered a different blog and my old one will no longer be active on my part. This is my first attempt at blogging of any kind and thanks to your insightful remarks, I am now much wiser! I am looking forward to continuing with WordPress.
