Can I change the name “Posts” to “Blog” on my Menu Bar
-
Hello and thanks in advance,
I have changed my home page to a static page, I want to keep that …
But I was wondering if it is possible — on my horizontal navigation bar — to change the word “Posts” to “Blog”
Can that be done? … And can it be done without changing the other parts of my blog: the static pages?
Last question: Is this a bad idea? … To me the term “blog” explains things better than the word “Posts”.
Thanks again,

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Of course you can change it (in Pages>Edit). The only tab you cannot change is the built-in “Home” tab.

Thank you very much, panaghiotisadam.
I just made the change.
Sometimes WordPress is so easy to use, it just amazes me.
I have a lot to learn about how to use all these easy-to-use features.
Best wishes from

This is a follow up question. If I choose to make the front page a static page then selecting a page makes both the Home tab and that page the same and all the posts disappear. The Home tab does not appear in the list of pages to choose for the blog so I just lose the blog. To get it back I have to revert to making the blog the front page.
How do I resolve this? (I’m using Mistylook and ideally would like to make the first Home tab a static page and the second tab the posts called posts or blog or News or whatever.) -
It’s all explained in the relevant FAQ:
And please paste the URL of the blog in question – or link your nickname to it (the site linked to your nick is not a wp.com blog). We often have to see the blog before we can give the right answer.
