Can I change the words [New post] in blog subscribers’ email subject line?

Right now, when people get my blog posts via email subscription, the email’s subject line reads: [New post] <then the title of my post>.
Can I change the wording in the brackets to something else, like a name more specific to my blog so they know it’s from there?

It’s not possible to change that text. The ‘from’ address will already contain the name of the blog the email is from.
