Can I change timezones on a free site

  Hi there. I’ve just started a new blog. I haven’t invested in a package yet as am just trying it out. My date and time seem to be set on an international time rather than Australian Eastern time, so the date of the post appears incorrect. How can I change this (or can I on a free service?) Thanks in advance for any help.

  1. Confirm your timezone is correct or rest it
  The default timezone is UTC time. You can reset your timezone here > Settings > General.

  Select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu you see there and then click “save changes”.

  2. Make sure out of order the post(s) is not out of order due to sticky post assignment.

  3. Check the date and timestamp
  For editing them see:

  Use the images you see here to help you http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/schedule-a-post/ edit the datestamp and timestamp if required and then click update.

  Thanks got it sorted I think. Had to delete post and repost to get date right.
