can i connect my website to my blog and what should i do for it

Hello.
I am pretty new in this but trying to set up my blog. My blog is almost done (design) – i am looking for an answer to how i can assign my blog to my website address. I bought domain drdancelv.com on godaddy.com and i want to manage and change just my blog. But i want to use my website as an entry to my blog. Please let me know how i can do that.

Hi, i require similiar assistance too to this question. I purchased a Domain, however i would wish to use WordPress.Com to manage the domain.
Please advice me on the steps required.
I have already tried
Settings -> Domains -> Add a Domain
It comes out:

As Vivian said, we need a link to your WordPress.com blog.
Have you purchased that domain from somewhere else? If not, you’ll need the $15 upgrade, not the $10 one, as that includes the purchase of the name. Looks like you’re trying to map a name you haven’t yet purchased. If you did purchase it, where did you purchase it from and when?

You change the nameservers at your host – in this case, Dot Easy Australia. Until the nameservers have been changed, you cannot add the domain here.

I’m actually having some trouble changing the nameserver..can’t find anywhere to do it on my webhosting site. Any help?

I’m also in a similar predicament I want / need to know how to assign my blog (http://drs1972.wordpress.com/) to my website address (http://www.atpi.com/select/).
I do NOT own this domain it is my companies domain, I just work (FTP) on this box. I also want to use my website as an entry to my blog. Please let me know if this can be done under my circumstances
I have also tried but received:

Well I do not have any access to the DNS tools & I put it to our IT guys & they said if they remove existing name servers (to add yours) we would lose our domain & this CANNOT happen as its the companies.PLEASE HELP!!??

If you want your website as an entry to the blog, I suggest you read the FAQ on subdomains.

If you read the FAQ, you will see that you change the nameservers on our domain. (And I believe that’s what I said above.)
