Can i constantly add to my website?

    Sorry about this but i’m 72 and have not a lot of idea about domain names and everything else. I want a very simple website for items I manufacture in my workshop at home.
    I make table lamps, candelabra, wine racks etc etc in steel AND in copper.
    I think I have a name for my little business but don’t understand a domain name, I have copper & steel designs OR copper or steel designs. Checked it out on your site and is the domain name copper&steeldesigns.co.uk?
    Does that mean if anybody searches Copper OR Steel Design work, either/or would it direct them to my web site?
    And the other question is…can I add pictures and products to my website constantly as I develop new ideas and products?
    Does it cost extra each time I add something or is everything included in the initial price?
    So sorry to be a pain but I am desperate to get it right from word go

    Yes, if anyone did enter example.com and your site was example.com they’d go right to your site. :)

    You can also constantly add to and change your site.

    Nothing costs extra each time necessarily. Depending on what you meend, you may need a paid plan, and that is renewed annually: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

    Then I assume from your reply that if I go “premium” I can add as many items, photo’s etc etc without further charges?
    Can you confirm that please, as being a pensioner I do NOT want further bills each time I add something?

    Hi John,

    what our paid plans give you is, among other things, the possibility to register a custom domain. A custom domain is an address without the .wordpress.com bit. Right now, your site is coppersteeldesigns.wordpress.com, if you bought any of the paid plans, you’d be able to register, for example, coppersteeldesigns.com or even coppersteel.design. The domains are free to register, although they have a yearly cost starting from the second year. You can check the prices depending on the extensions (TLD), here:

    Paid plans also give you more storage space, you can compare it from here:

    That means that on a paid plan you’ll be able to add more media files to your site but if you reach your maximum storage space, you won’t be able to add anything new, you wouldn’t be charged more.
