can I control the content of my ads?

    I want to display ads on my site. I was told to do AdSense, but that doesn’t seem to be working. So, I did WordAds from WordPress, which worked right away. The problem was, that the advertisement was an alcohol commercial. I don’t want any of that on my site. What can I do to control what ads appear on my site?

    Just to clarify and ease any confusion, AdSense will not work on WordPress.com sites. You would need to have a self-hosted WordPress site to run AdSense.

    As to your larger question about WordAds, it is not possible to control what type of ads appear on a site. We do have a very high standard as to the ads that we run. But we also understand that there are undoubtedly ads that will not sit well with some folks. It may be that opting out of WordAds and purchasing the No Ads upgrade would be a better direction for your site.
