Can I create 2 different gravatar for my 2 different wordpress sites – but with one account
-
I have a primary free wordpress site – http://www.entwiningwords.wordpress.com and have a profile gravatar for it. A few days back, I created another blog – http://www.learningster.wordpress.com with the same account/email id. But I want a separate gravator for this new blog. It helps in keeping separate blog identities, especially while commenting. Is it possible?

Hi there,
To be able to have two different Gravatars, you need two accounts at WordPress.com/email addresses.
With the same account/email ID, it is not possible to have two Gravatars.
However, you can have one Gravatar with different email addresses and images, if you would like to keep identities separate.

Thank you very much for the prompt replied.
I did just as you mentioned. Signed in to gravatar and added another email/uploaded separate gravatar picture with it. And it worked.
Now I can keep identities separate. Thanks again!

Hi there,
Adding multiple identities to the same Gravatar account will not help in this case, as your WordPress.com account is only tied to the primary identity, and both your sites belong to the same account.
The only way to have different identities for different sites, is to have two completely separate username accounts.
Go to Gravatar.com and remove the extra identity you add with the secondary email.
Then log out, go to https://wordpress.com/start/account/user/ and create a completely new username account with the email address and username you want to use.
Once that account is created, log back into the
pallavipshettyaccount, and transfer ownership of the one site to the new account:
