Can I create a freelance website via WordPress ?

    Hi, I was wondering if WordPress could allow me to create a freelance website. To do so it will have to:
    – allow to create personalized profile for freelancers and clients
    – having a payment platform between the freelancers and the clients
    -having a communication platform between the freelances and the clients

    We do not offer that functionality built in to WordPress.com but it can likely be added via a plugin like one of the following: https://wordpress.com/plugins/?s=client+area

    Of the ones listed there we recommend the Jetpack CRM tool, which offers all the functionality you mention: https://wordpress.com/plugins/zero-bs-crm

    Please note, to add plugins to your WordPress.com site you will need to first upgrade to our WordPress.com Pro Plan, after which you will be able to upload any plugin you wish, without issue. More info here.
