Can I create a homepage w/WordPress & link to pages on my old Web site?

  I have a huge & ancient Web site that gets 30,000+ visitors a month. What I WANTED to use WordPress for was to create a new home page with the url myname.com (no wordpress in the url) and then link it to pages on my existing Web site.

  Can I do this with WordPress? I did pay to have my domaine be myname.com

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  It looks like you recently purchased the domain name libbykoponen.com and set it up on your WordPress.com account. It looks like your original site is here;

  http://ifyoulovetoread.com/

  If I understand you correctly, you would like the front page of libbykoponen.com to have links to your previous site. Is that correct? In that case, your links would still use the ifyoulovetoread.com URL. So, this would still be the link to your “Books” page:

  http://ifyoulovetoread.com/books.htm

  Or, are you looking to move the content from your old site (ifyoulovetoread.com) to libbykoponen.com? In that instance, the link to your “Books” page would be:

  http://libbykoponen.com/books
