Can I create a new site and use an old domain?

  Hello

  I am still very new to this. Sorry.

  My friend has a website already. Let’s call it http://www.abc123.net.
  The site has not been maintained and is out of date.
  I wish to use WordPress to build her a brand new site. However, when I’m done with it, can I assign http://www.abc123.net to it? She doesn’t want to change her website address.

  You sure can. The feature is called Domain Mapping
