Can I create a sub pages navigation page? or say Loop for sub pages?
-
I was searching for a functionality like “posting to page” which I think is not available on WordPress.com.
So now I am using sub-pages for it.
Question:
I want to make a page called “Main Parent” and have all sub pages listed on it automatically. If I add a new sub page then it should update on “Main Parent”s list.Is this possible?

Thanks for replying, but I am not asking how to create sub-pages. I want a Link-List of pages with subpages appear in main page just like it does in “Pages” widget. -
I don’t believe it is possible to do this automatically. I have the same thing on my front static page. What I do is just copy the whole link list that I want to display from the side bar page widget as it is displayed on my front page. And then go into edit page and paste it into the front page. Then I edit a little bit or add some commentary. I do this in the visual editor not with the html.
With this kind of copying it takes the link address as well as the link name and gives the page heirarchy via indentation in the list. But if you make a new page or update a title or something you have to do the copy and paste thing again. Not the most elegant solution but it saves having to make these content lists link by link in the editor.

@bazaarofdreams

I need this for other blog where I need sub pages. Alas! I think I have to give up on this. -

thesuda,
There isn’t a built in option to do what you are looking for. You would have to manually add the links into the parent page.
