can I create an email account

  Hi,
  I would like to create websites on WordPress and use a custom domain name but how do I setup the email accounts?

  There is no option to create email accounts in WordPress right?, which means that I need to open email accounts on a third party hosting company and then forward the Arecords to WordPress. Is that the way to do it?

  You have to set up the email through google apps (google MX).
