Can I create pages that can only be viewed by members of my site

1) Can I create pages that can only be viewed by members of my site using their own unique password.
2)Is it possible to send an email acknowledgement to a user of my sight once they have clicked the submit button on a form I have on a page.

1) There are two options here that you might consider. You can set the entire blog to private, and then add users to your access list.

Alternatively, you can password protect a particular post or page:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#password-protect-a-postIf you decide to password protect a page or post, you’ll need to set the password, and distribute it to your readers. You can’t set a different password for each user.
2) It’s not possible to do this at this time, but we’re considering it for future updates.
