Can I create social websites where people can buy/sell to each other

I am looking to create a website where people can create accounts/profiles and interact with other people with profiles on said site. I would also like to know the site can have a feature where people can create forums and buy/sell services to and from each other. I would really like to know if I can achieve this through Word press. My budget is very flexible

You can create a WordPress.com site with plugins that allow you to add those features to your site. With the WordPress.com Business plan or higher, you’ll be able to add custom plugins to your site. Here are some plugins that I think you’ll find useful. (Note that even if some of the plugins are free, you’ll need the WordPress.com Business plan or higher to use them on your site with us.)
For creating a site with social networking features, you can use the BuddyPress plugin. It’s a free plugin with a lot of customization options.
WooCommerce is the best plugin to add shopping features (an online store) to your site. It is highly customizable. With WooCommerce extensions, you can add more features to your store. There are many extensions created by the WooCommerce team as well as third-party developers.
One of the features you can add via a WooCommerce extension is the ability to add multi-vendor e-commerce features where your users can have their own store within your site and publish products for sale.
