can i date a post from an earlier time?

  We are just starting our blog, but we have a lot of “reports” that we would like to date from weeks and months ago. Example: I would like to put up a report from September 2, 2014 and have it show in our archives under that date. But if I make that post today, it will, of course, show up under today’s date, November 5.

  Is there any way to work around that? Please let me know if I have not described my question well enough.

  Hey there,

  You can change the date of a post, certainly.

  Open the post you’d like to adjust in your Post Editor. Click on Edit next to the Post’s date, like so:

  Then, adjust the date, and click Update, as depicted here:
  https://cloudup.com/cPr0FWheTYK
