Can I delete everything on my wordpress site so I can reinstall it

  Hi there, is it possible to delete everything on my current domain so that I can reinstall wordpress through hostgator? Right now I have the domain pointed towards my nameserver.

  My problem was that I bought my domain name through wordpress.com instead of wordpress.org so I lost a lot of customizability. I’m trying to fix it by having my domain point to my hostgator nameservers that will have a new wordpress installed, letting me use downloaded themes from the web.

  Hi Ryan,

  You can indeed install WordPress via HostGator. There are numerous instructions on how to do so online, including this tutorial which I just found on HostGator’s website:

  Unfortunately I’m not able to provide much help, since your site is now going to be on a different system and isn’t with WordPress.com any longer. We can only assist with WordPress.com issues.
