can i delete my .com site, as my .org site is connected via jetpack?

  I have a wordpress.com site and have now connected it with my wordpress.org site.
  But I no longer want the .com site. Can I delete it and will my .org site still have all the previous blogs that were on my .com site?

  old site: http://(email visible only to moderators and staff)

  new site: http://beneantwi.com

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
