Can I delete my old site?

    I changed the site’s address and wordpress seemed to simply duplicate the site and its contents but under a new address. Can I safely delete the old site without loosing the content of the new address?

    Are you certain both the blogs now have the same content? Can you post the link of the other blog? Also, visit this page and ensure you can see both the blogs under your account.

    If you’re sure, one blog can be deleted but it’s always a risky option. Once deleted, a blog cannot be recovered, and its address can never be used again.

    What I’d suggest is set one of the blogs as private. It’ll solve the search engine penalty and not violate any duplicate blog terms.
