  • Hi there,

I’m not sure that we understood your original request. We provided instructions on how to remove content on your site (pages, blog posts, etc.) but that is not the same as the process of removing all plugins and 3rd party themes, and all their associated data to totally reset the site.

Is that what you are trying to accomplish? To fully reset the site so it is a basic WordPress site again without any plugins or themes? If so we have the option to revert your site (reset it to the way it was before you added your first plugin) is that what you are needing to accomplish instead?

For sites on our Business plan (which I can confirm your site is) staff is able to reset the site, but it’s a permanent operation, so any content that is removed would be lost forever. If you wish to proceed with reverting your site please confirm that this is OK, and save any info you need to your computer.

    Thanks for confirming.

    Greetings
I’m getting some errors on my site. Since there is no .htaccess file and my web server is nginx, I need to solve my problems from the nginx.conf file, but when I connected to the files with sftp, I saw that there was no nginx folder and public_html folder. I have a theory about the lack of an Nginx folder. A few days ago, someone threatened me by saying that there was a vulnerability in my site’s admin panel and that it would crash my site. I think it just deleted the nginx folder and that put me in an error loop. What I want is for everything to be reset and reinstalled, reinstalling all the missing files and folders

  • Hi @ignistemplum, could you share the errors you’re running into so we can take a closer look?

The site wouldn’t be working at all if nginx were gone, but if you can share more details about the issue you’re having, I’ll bet we can help. Let us know!

Also, bear in mind your hosting with us comes with security. If you think this was a credible thread, get in touch by email or chat support and share more details so we can investigate. Thanks!
