Can I Delete Original Posts Once Imported?

    Hi everyone! I have a Tumblr journal and since they don’t have a built-in export function, I wanted to use WordPress as a place to “backup” my posts by periodically importing my Tumblr over here. I have my journal here set to private since I’m only using it for that. I did my first import and everything imported over fine.

    My question is, if I delete the ORIGINAL posts that I imported here from Tumblr, will they delete from WordPress as well or are the posts completely disconnected once imported? I ask only because I saw that some of the images still have tumblr in the file names so I wanted to be sure that when they imported, they weren’t actually LINKING back to the original files on Tumblr and would therefore disappear if I deleted the original files.
