Can I design a website on WordPress and host it on a different server?

  WordPress,

  I currently have my own website:

  http://www.artcarter.com/

  that I want to redesign. I am happy with the Web Hosting Company I have, and really don’t want to switch.

  Can I design my website using WordPress, and export it, to use on my current Web Host as a ne design?

  Hi there,

  There are two different flavors of WordPress.
  1) WordPress.com and
  2) WordPress.org

  Read more about it here –

  You can definitely design a site in WordPress (WordPress.org) and host it on your current web host.
