Can I Disable “Internal” Pingbacks?

  Hello!

  Whenever I link to a page on my blog from one of my other blog posts, I get a pingback notification letting me know, and it gets included under RECENT COMMENTS widget.

  I already know I linked to my own site, can I turn this off? I only want the comments to appear and not both the comments and pingback, can it be done?

  If you approve the pingbacks they will display. To disable pingbacks see here http://en.support.wordpress.com/comments/pingbacks/#disabling-pingbacks

  I see, a simple solution is not to APPROVE my own pingbacks! :)
