Can I disable cookies being collected from my website?

  Hi,

  When anyone visits my blog they get a pop-up at the bottom on the screen saying this site uses cookies….and the accept and close option. Can I disable cookies being collected from my blog? I have received a lot of feedback that it deters visitors from clicking on anything, which means they visit the site but don’t read my posts because of privacy concerns :/

  Hi there, You might also want to read this guide which explains the need for the Cookie Banner in more detail https://wordpress.com/support/cookie-widget/

  Your site visitors also have control over whether they allow cookies to be placed in their browser. There’s more information about this on the document that @staartmees linked to under “Controlling Cookies.”
