Can I disable or make private my blog for a while and be off the Google search

  I want to make my personal blog go off the Google search page for a while. I plan to return to posting soon, but don’t want others to be able to search the content from search engine and reach to my blog.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  To change blog visibility to Private go to > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3 .

  What will happen if you make your blog private is that every time anyone clicks a link to your blog in Google search or anywhere on the internet they will be faced with a private blog notice and will not be able to access the blog.

  If you think they will come back again after, in essence, having the door slammed in their face, then you can make the blog private temporarily, but I would never ever do that.
