Can I disable youtube annotations

  I can’t stand youtube annotations. They are absolutely the bane of my existence. Is there a way to post youtube videos on my wordpress.com blog while disabling the annotations on the embedded video?

  I have already tried the supposed feature described by google (http://www.google.com/support/youtube/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=92712), and it didn’t work.
