Can I 'dismantle' an existing, unused blog site & construct a new one?
-
I set up the present blog two years ago. I now want to dismantle this blog and set up another one–using a different format. When I attempt to establish the new blog, I’m given a message board that states that both my user i.d. and address are already taken. How can I do what I want?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
No need for you to create a new WordPress.com account or username to start a new blog. You can keep your current WordPress.com account, username and delete your present blog. You can do that through your Tools -> Delete Site page here: http://dannaegele.wordpress.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=delete-blog
Here’s a helpful article on how to do that:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/Note that deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to reuse its WordPress.com address.
To register a new blog, go to your Dashboard -> My Blogs page and click the Register Another Blog button on the lower right corner.

DON’T DELETE ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!
If you want to reuse & re-purpose http://dannaegele.wordpress.com/ – you want to clear the contents of the site
Empty Site:
If you have too much content to empty the site yourself you can have the staff empty the site for you.
NOTE: Once content is deleted and the Trash emptied you will never get your content back.
Then just start adding new content
