can i display a disclaimer before someone enters the blog?

  how can we add a disclaimer or make someone state he/she is over 18 years of age before blog entries are displayed? thanks!

  For WordPress.com blog all you can do is register your blog as “mature content..

  Having said that I don’t think that your blog would fall into the “mature content” criteria in the USA, so WordPress staff probably won’t worry whether you register it as mature or not.

  Of course I realise that you may want to restrict readership for other reasons, like your local laws or just to avoid childish comments.

  tandava108, thanks so much! i know it actually does not fall into the mature content, but then… this is my india ;-) however, we have to think about it because it excludes us from global tag listings etc.. thanks so much for the link though!
