Can I display photos as a slideshow on a page?

  I would like to display about twenty photos as a slideshow. Can I do it on a page? Can I do it with a widget?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes you can. A slideshow will display a set of images attached to a particular post or page. Please see here for slideshow instructions.

  So far so good. I have the photos in a slideshow, BUT, they have a thick black frame around them and they all appear as separate pictures underneath the slide show.

  Is it possible to change the color and thickness of the frame?

  Is is possible to have just the slideshow and not the individual pictures below it?

  a) The WP slidedhow displays all the images “attached” to the post; that is, all the images uploaded to your computer via the Add Media tool of that post. You only upload them, without actually inserting them in the post. Now that you have inserted them as well, you can click on each image in the Visual editor and delete it.

  b) No, the WP slideshow isn’t customizable. You can change the color of the frame by using this workaround:

  Hi
  thanks for showing the above workaround, but im still having trouble, do you know the code to make the slideshow appear with a white frame. I have a white background and would like the pictures in the slideshow to appear as if they have no frame at all.

  You’re welcome. The hex for pure white is fff.
