Can I display the full blog entry in a Hemmingway template?

  Hi, I’m a photographer and am just starting a blog. I have chosen the Hemmingway template for its ability to display images up to 650 pixels wide but the test posts that I’ve added all initially display ‘collapsed’. Can this default behaviour be changed? I’ve read several posts on the forum that mention the more tag but when I look at the raw HTML this doesn’t seem to be present at the place where the blog cuts off??

  No it cannot. You would need access to the underlying theme files, which we do not have.

  Haven’t actually tried it myself, but it seems like it should work.

  If you are looking for theme recommendations for photography blogs, besides Monotone, I’m also using “The Journalist”. Both have large image sizes displayed, but Monotone is widgetless, which is why I didn’t abandon my first photoblog.

  Thanks for the link to the previous post Jennifer. After a bit of trial and error I managed to get all my images to display by copying and pasting the entire contents of the HTML into the excerpts box. Works beautifully now.

  I’m still making some changes to my first posting & have hit another small issue – I can’t seem to be able to add carriage returns or paragraphs. I’ve tried using both the visual editor and added
  and <p> tags directly to the HTML but when I view the post they seem to have no effect & when I go back to the source code they’ve disappeared – and yes I did save it before viewing it ;@).

  Thanks for the link. Looks like you’ve deleted that Post? I get a 404 error “Page not Found”.

  Paragraph returns have been a bother for a lot of people lately. I haven’t been following those discussions though, but have a look through the forums.

  (the term “carriage returns” made me smile-have we dated ourselves or what?)
