Can I download all my blogposts into a pdf/word/text file format?
-
Hi everyone,
I want to download all my blogposts that I have written so far into a pdf/word/text or anyother usable format. Actually, there has been this problem of plagiarism and which is really very annoying. So i would like to have a copy of my blogpost from time to time! I understand that I have to copy paste each one of them to make a pdf or word file. But my question is “whether wordpress has any utility that helps me organise my post and download them into a simple text file format for my personal use?”Kindly let me know if there is one,
Thanks in advance,

You can export out an XML file. Here are the instructions for doing that http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/

Another means of getting copies of your posts from time to time is to simply subscribe to your own feeds. As for what to do about content theft, this post will be helpful: http://onecoolsite.wordpress.com/2008/05/10/splog-off-dealing-with-content-theft/ When it comes to how to copyright your digital works this post will be helpful http://onecoolsite.wordpress.com/2008/10/07/how-to-copyright-your-digital-works/

I use a Firefox add-on “Print to PDF” but it’s not always working right, it depends on the code in the page. It works fine on wordpress.com.
The pages have no backgrounds so I use another add-on for screen grabbing.
If you want to try them go to Firefox add-ons site and look for printpdf and screengrab.
I keep my posts this way as images and PDFs.
I hope it helps.
