Can I edit a templete just a bit or not?
-
Please confirm whether I understood correctly, when I pick up WordPress.com theme, <b>I can not change fonts on a theme, colors, size…</b>? So, the only thing I can do is to add widgets? Is that it?
Thanks! :)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Update: for instance, if I choose theme Choco by CSSMayo
– I can add/remove Widgets
– add Menus
– Extras are same for all
– chose 3 Theme Options colors (tabs color)
– change Background pic and color, but not the other pics (text backgound image, for expample)
– fonts edit with Typekit Fonts where 1 month is free
– Edit CSS but can not save it!Am I getting this right? Thanks! :)

a) Many themes are color customizable – see here:
http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/03/24/color-customisable-themes/b) To change fonts, colors, sizes etc. once for all, you need the paid CSS upgrade (and experience in CSS editing). Other than that, you can change fonts for free via Typekit, and you can change the content of a post or a text widget (fonts, colors, sizes etc.) using HTML.

Thanks, but I can not change the letterhead of the blog and the main fonts. :( Typekit is limited not free.
I know I can edit posts like I want to. But headlines, Category names fonts, etc… nope.

You can change the font of headlines, category names, and anything else via Typekit. The basic account is free: it just doesn’t allow you to use any font or more than two different fonts at a time.

Yup, I’m looking at Typekit once again, my mistake, free Typekit is not time-limited. Thanks! :)

Me since May 2010. The info in their site is misleading. And if it was a one-month thing, it wouldn’t be included in our dashboards without a relevant warning.
