can I edit the email to subscribers?

    I’m a new blogger . I signed up to my own blog so I can see the email which is being sent to followers. The email contains the whole post. How can I edit this to encourage the post to be read on my blog? – which looks smarter – the email looks amateur. ie. so it’s just an excerpt. Thanks

    Hi there,

    I think you’re right, it does look smarter! :)

    You can try using the more tag. Give it a shot, that should do the trick! It is a button in your visual editor, just enter it where you want your post to be broken up.

    brianzed Thanks so much. I really appreciate your response. This is exactly what I was looking for. I’ll try it next time I post because the link you sent me to says editing after posting can cause problems.
    Also, I’ve been copying & pasting from word, the link says that too can cause issues. Out of interest do you copy & paste from anywhere for your blog? Thanks in advance.
