Can I edit the footer?

  I am using the Misty template, and I am editing the CSS. Can I add information to the footer? For example, “Blog customization by…”

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  There is a trick using a pseudo thingy in the CSS, but IE doesn’t recognize pseudo classes so anyone using IE would not see it, and IE accounts for around 45% of internet users.

  What is actually in the footer is declared in the underlying theme files, and we do not have access to those files.

  So now I’m not sure where to put this so it does not appear under the blog at wordpress.com and the theme info. It is showing it twice and what I want is this, centered:
  Blog with…
  Theme…
  Customization by…

  That is beyond what can be done via CSS as far as I know.
