Can I edit the URL (domain name)?

    Hi. My domain name (URL) is my own name but as I develop the blog, I’ve rethought that and I want to change it. Is it possible to edit the domain name? Thank you.

    Hey there,

    Once a domain name has been registered, there isn’t any way to change it without affecting the registration.

    You’ve got a few options:

    * Register a second domain name to use with your blog alongside the current one
    * Cancel the domain name you have, and register a different name to use as your Primary Domain for the blog
    * Keep things as they are

    You should be aware that if you cancel off your existing domain name, you give up ownership of it completely. There’s no guarantee that you would be able to get it back again in future if you change your mind, so you should be completely sure before deciding to go down that route!
