Can I email blog posts

  I read somewhere you can email a post to a blog and have it published. Can WordPress do this?

  To my knowledge, With the blog software you download from WordPress.org; yes, you can. Here at WordPress.com, you cannot. Maybe you’d consider using a desktop application as an alternative.

  WPMu has the software to do so but it’s a royal pain to set up manually. Dealing with the spammers who would use the option is an issue as well.

  Thanks for the replies, I’ll soldier on in the tiny text box posting form then. TBH whenver I have access to email a post, I can also post a post I’ve written offline in a Text Editor, so on second thoughts maybe I won’t miss anything.

  You may want to submit a feedback with your situation. Staff has been known for making special arrangements for certain folks. I can’t promise you anything though.
