Can I embed an html code for a new widget?

    I want to import a widget from Wonderopolis.org – I have an html code to embed. HOw do I do this on my wordpress blog?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there – It depends on the code. If it’s plain HTML of the kind permitted on WordPress.com, you can paste it in a plain text widget:

    However, if it contains an iframe or similar, it won’t work:

    In that case, you can kind of make your own widget by uploading an image you’d like to use for the widget to your blog’s Media Library, and then using a Text or Image widget to display the image, linked to Wonderopolis.
