Can I format text on a Free Account?

    Hi,

    I was trying to format text on my site that is included here but discovered there doesn’t seem to be an option with a free account once you set it up? I’m hoping I’m wrong!

    I also tried to install a plugin and that was a no go unless I had a paid account.

    Please advise.

    Hi there,

    Text formatting should work the same on free sites as it does on ones with upgrades. If I can ask, what is the formatting you are trying for? Can you point out the text you are trying to format (and what page it’s on if not the homepage) and what changes you are trying to make? We’re happy to take a closer look

    That is correct. It is possible to upload any plugin or theme “designed for WordPress” but to do so you will need our Business Plan as mentioned here:

    If I can ask, what is the plugin you are trying to install. There is a lot of build in functionality on WordPress.com that you would normally need a plugin for (if you are setting up a WordPress site with another provider) so if you can tell us more about it we’re happy to take a closer look and suggest an alternative if we offer one.
