Can I get a continuous scroll of posts in Lovecraft and if so how? Thank you :)

Yes I did thank you so much for asking – but unfortunately I’ve no idea how so it’s not something I can play with. I think simply the homepage is continuous (which is what I wanted) but single posts end; so I guess I was in a single post while I was customising the new theme. If you happen to know whether either of these settings is changeable that would be great, but I think it’s good for me.

If you wanted to turn off Infinite Scroll on the blog (it’s not a setting that applies to single posts) you could add one or more widgets to any of your theme’s Footer widget areas (Customizer > Widgets) . Adding footer widgets would replace the continuous scrolling with a button that viewers would click to load more posts.
Glad you’re all set for now!

Brilliant thank you Kathryn. So I can have infinite posts, or one on the homepage with footer widgets instead. I really like having options I’m in control of, you know? Or at least knowing when I don’t! Also while I’m here and since you’re staff, I have to say that although switching to a new theme shows up limitations, the free blog provision is really amazing. I had a disheartened moment before I got to grips with the theme where I felt maybe free themes were a designed to be really limited to push people into paying – but I see that’s not the case. WordPress is running a fantastic service and I’m really glad of it, I’d find it far easier to avoid putting myself out there if I had to pay or hire someone at this stage. Thanks again!
