Can I get a .png here at wordpress?

  I am trying to submit my podcast to itunes. I followed the podcasting instructions here and went to feedburner as directed. But it needs an image that is formatted as a jpeg or a png. However when I upload those images to WordPress, and use the permalink to that image it does not end in jpg or png and thus is not accepted. How can I fix this problem? Or can I not do this at wordpress?

  Hi there,

  We absolutely do allow .png files, the issue that you’re having is just that the .png file which you’ve uploaded appears to have been corrupted during the upload (or perhaps while on your computer).

  When I went to view the image (https://woodenpulpitmedia.files.wordpress.com/2014/07/podcast.png), I got a warning that the image could not be displayed because it contains errors. You should be able to delete it and upload a new one. If that one also displays errors then the image on your computer is likely corrupted and you’ll need to use a different file.
